Re: avg price of a galant?

you can have my galant for 6k... nothing less

but..... i paid $500 for it when i started out, and its a fairly clean example. so i say anywhere from $500 to $1500 for a good neat stock example?

but the way things go, its worth what someone is willing to pay for it

Re: 4g54, 4g32 gearbox conversion

yea i could feel the welch plug on the 4g54, well half of it. also the 4g32 has a 5 speed box well it should bolt up then :D the 5spd would be from a 2ltr (fine to use behind the 2.6) and will have 2 holes in the top where the box bolts to the engine (like 10/15mm apart, cos the astron uses one and...

Re: 4g54, 4g32 gearbox conversion

how would i know if i had the wide block? there are a couple of ways... prob easiest is check the sandwich plate on the back of the engine. If this covers up the welch plug thats at the back, then its wide, if you can feel the plug, its narrow. if the 2.6 is a factory 5spd, then its wide. and you c...

the diff will stand test mate. mines only a std galant with a locked guts. its been in 2 galant turbos and one with a 250RWHP nitrous weber fed 2.6 and only ever broke 1 axle, and that was due to the dude dialing in 20psi on the gauge, while the car wasnt moving, then side stepping the clutch  ...
