Re: sigma into scorpion?

I'm waiting on the guy to send me pics of the car, its over 2 hours away, apparently everything is there bar the engine n box, my sigma needs a lot of body work to get right, the scorpion may be an easier fix.

sigma into scorpion?

A 79 scorpion rolling shell has come up for sale in tassie, I'm thinking of getting it and transfering my engine and box out of my 81 sigma, is this as simple as it sounds or will it work at all?

Re: aircon removal?

cheers, i was thinking the car would be easier on fuel if it was removed, i suppose cutting the belt will do that too!

Re: 1981 GH Sigma

there is a little bit of rust to sort out but everything else is pretty good, it needs a passenger door and a few bits of trim, a t-cut, bit of welding here and there, the carb and engine need a clean, and i think thats all for now....

1981 GH Sigma

This will be my third resto thread, I had a mk2 escort ghia, then a mk1 ford fiesta, which is still in a shed in Ireland(unfinished), and now a 1981 sigma! A couple of pics to start off with! http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu50/nikmagbucket/tas%20cars/DSC03779_zpsbaf160e3.jpg http://i632.photobu...

Re: hi from Hobart

I'm not really sure, i was a ford man for a while, had a couple of mk2 escorts and still have a mk1 fiesta in a shed in ireland, the sigma popped up on gumtree beside me and I couldn't let it go, my dad had a silver colt/sigma in the 80's and its a cool looking car. I would like to get it roadworthy...
