Re: Galant Wiring Diagrams

Thanks mate,

The person who removed the original engine (prior to me owning) opted for the "lets cut everything instead of unplugging" method.

So ive got black and white wires, white wires, yellow wires etc all in a bundle haha

Does any one have a wiring diagram for the GD Galant with 1.6 Saturn motor? I need to re-do the wiring for the alternator as well, so if someon...

As much as I like the twin headlight fronts, I still prefer the uncomplicated singles in the GC front. http://i.imgur.com/OgBz9.jpg http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/8987/nik4890.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img254/2245/dsc02704pu.jpg As far as twin headlight grilles there is a 3rd option. 77galantv...

GC compared to GD -whats your favourite?

Just out of curiosity who prefers which model?
Im not a full book on these (aside from the obvious front and back differences)
Personally, always been a fan of twin headlights, however the grille on my GD isnt great.
The tail lights of the GC are ALOT better IMHO too!! :)

Who prefers what and why?

Re: Enging swap options

Alright just to double check some information.
Currently the car has a gearbox, block etc but is missing bolt ons (head, waterpump, exhaust and intake).
Even if I get a wide block, can I use my gearbox with new bellhousing?
Don't want to buy something that won't work lol

Enging swap options

Hi, What engines are a direct straight bolt in for a GD Galant. I think its got the standard 1.6? minus head and intake/exhaust manifold. Im figuring they arent the easiest to get hold of, so what options do i have for a straight drop in job? I dont want to modify anything really... Want it as pain ...

4G63T into GC Galant Question

Hi all,

dropped the motor and box in (fits perfectly) except......
The turbo is VERY VERY close to the brake booster/master. (ill grab a pic tonight and upload)

Whats the best solution for this in your thoughts? or any pics of engine bays in cars already done.

Cheers
