Yer I liked that break booster. My old one didn’t have one and you would have to jump on the breaks it pull it up. I haven’t driven this one yet (no rego )but will be interesting to see how big of a difference that will make. Well there you go, I thought they were standard on all. Must have been an...

How many valves does it have? It might even be an import.
my 4G32 chain drive is an import, had to get the motor inspected by the RTA to get it registered. They didn't recognise it....

That's gotta suck. I love those GB coupes. There used to be one getting around North Rocks in Sydney in 1989 that I used to admire.
But I've got to disagree boys, Although GB's look good, they don't look as good as GC wagons in my eyes....

Mate, a common problem with these is the heater tap. They fill up with shit and don't work any more. I pull them apart, clean and lube with boating grease. You may be lucky, that might be all it is. See if you tap moves when you move the heater controls. I haven't pulled the screens from a sigma but...

Re: Galant Inserts & Springs
It's easy to do....just one more tip. If you take the tension off the nut on the top of the strut before you jack up the car (don't take it off), then you don't need to put your strut in a vice. The weight of the car works just fine. So I've found anyway. Then once you put the spring compressors on,...

Re: new to this site, old school car enthused, ready to drive!
quick question, my brakes fade really really quickly, that is after maybe 3 or 4 hard brakings i have to kick the brake almost to the floor to get any response and even then they're really mushy. what's up with that? or is that normal for older cars/ones without a brake booster? Flush your braking ...

It's a fuse in an insulated holder with a wire from each end. Like the ones that come on the back of your stereos.
It's like a one fuse, fuse box.
Google it.

Re: Aftermarket gauge wire up
let me introduce you to a test light, they are a wonderful thing. You can buy one or make one. 12v globe with 2 wires, good to put a small sharpened nail on one end. Put it to both terminals on your battery and if it works it's a test light. to test an ignition positive is easy. put the end without ...
