Re: 4g63 sohc 2l

Sorry my stuff up, it is the 2l turbo motor. Thought that was the 4g63 sohc 2l turbo? Prob my mistake. I want to put the Magna intake on it so I can put bigger injectors etc just not sure on what model or any other upgrades that are good to make more hp. Not chasing huge power just enough for some f...

Hi guys. I am currently building a 4g63 sohc 2l motor for my gb wagon. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and what upgrades or things they done to chaise some more power. What worked what didn't and anything else that would help me with this conversation. Thank you

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has fitted a ca18det to a galant wagon on here? I need some help chasing a manual gearbox to bolt up behind it. I don't want my shifter to move to far back so I'm wondering what options I have or what other people have used before. The ca18det gearbox is about 20...

Re: Best motor

Thanks guys, I defiantly want to run manual this isn't going to be set up for drags or dyno runs. It won't be daily driven either its more of a Sunday go for cruise etc or a powercruise run and that. Re: Best motor

I was leaning towards the auto 2.6 sigma motor for ease of fitment but putting the injected magna head on it as well. Not sure if I'm heading in the right way or not haha

Re: Best motor

So if I find a 2.6l astron motor in a sigma which is auto I should use that to start a turbo build? Did the sigma come out with different size astron motors or if the motor says astron and its in a sigma with an auto box behind it I'm pretty good to go?

Re: Best motor

Yeah I'm starting to lean towards the sr20det i think it might just being an easier option for me to get around the hp I want and having a manual box that can hold it etc

Re: Best motor

How did you go fitting the v6? All engineered and that? I was always leaning towards the sr20 for the sole purpose of a few upgrades making 300hp at the rears is achievable, but being an alloy motor I'm not so sure these days haha

Best motor

Guys, new to building cars and need some advice. I have just brought a 74 galant wagon and would really like a turbo motor in it. Just wondering what motors people recommended as for ease and reliability as a sleeper but with a decent amount of power, not stupid amount of power just a good amount. T...

1974 Galant Wagon

Hi guys, For a few years now I have been looking for a galant wagon as this was my first car back when I was 16. Well I finally found one and picked it up this weekend. Its very tidy with the only rust being in the rear gutter around the tail gate and even then its only minor. It has 80 miles on the...

I like way your thinking, it's always such a hard choice because you want to try and keep the body lines etc all standard but at the same time you want to change them as well. Efi would always be an awesome option in my opinion something super reliable and just jump in and cruise all day long withou...
