no it was points on the 2l that was in it and now its electric ignition and the electric ignition is droping the volts 2 6volts and it needs to be 12 volts

i have swap the to a gn motor and it runs on 12 and i have to bypass it so the car will run

as the title how do you bypassing ballast resistor on a ge?

any one got a ge workshop manual handy ?

i put the 2l distributor in turn the key and bang off she when thz guys heaps i just have to get a timeing ligth tommow and it will be sweet so happy its runing you guys are life savers

it got a big box cased to the distributor i think the the pick up so i when and got a o24 module and wire it up with that still no spark iam think i mite just go to the wreckers and get a distributor from a magna and see if that works

i just swap the motor in my ge from 2l to a 2.6 out of a gj and wire it up am 90% such the wiring is rigth but there no spark what could it be i left the coil from my 2l in there because it was still good

i got the gj with a 2.6l and a jap 5 speed looks the same as the one that come out my ge sigma so i put the motor in the ge today and the gearbox is siting about 8cm further back is that right. if i leave it in the car i will have to cut the piece out in the ge the gear box that come out of the gj a...

hi guys i just got a gj with and 2.6 in it and iam wanting to put the 2.6 from it in my ge what the easy way to go about the wire for the distributor the ge has a 2l in it now with a points distributor and the gj has a electronic distributor

i found a vacuum line off put it on and the secondary strated working but still wont pass 100

so i got a mechanic to rebuild my carby he had the car for 2week and every time i get it back i cant get pass 100 kph or ran like shit i got it back friday and it strats and runs fine till i hit 100kph and then it just plays up like it geting to much fuel or not enough can any one help me plz

OK i have a magna 2.6l and i want to turbo it iam going to rebuild it what rods/Pistons/cam/rockers/ are the best i you eyes if you are building one

its an auto 2.6 but someone was saying i need to put a wlesh pulg in the back of the motor and use a gn sigma timeing chine cover?
