I use the same diff in my current competition car, also Escort MK1, and it has copped a belting for almost 4 years now and all I have done is tighten the LSD. It uses drum brakes, so no brake issues. I used a Nissan 620 diff in my LC rally car, 4.625 locker, and apart from redrilling the axles it bo...

That price was just for mods and parts, I did the work myself. I have fitted a Willwood pedal box with bias so the brake thing should be fine but I haven't driven it yet. The handbrake took a bit of fiddling as the Falcon has more "pull" on the lever. I had to jack up the lever and lengthe...

I used this conversion in my Escort Mk1 and all up it cost $2500 including suspension mods. (the Ford diff that is)
