GH Sigma Wagon in tassie
So, In April i regretfully sold my A53 Colt Galant. I had a Datsun 720 Ute then a AE93 SX Corolla with a 4AGE in it. While i had the Corolla i felt like i had to get back into a "Bitsamissin" so the hunt was on. I Found a decent GE SE Sedan but old mates sales tactic didn't work on me. Abo...

Re: Mitsubishi Colt Galant A53, revived thread!
So, between September last year and August this year, it was mostly driven a few things changed. But in early August, dad killed it. ran the motor out of coolant and baked itself. So of course i sourced a 4G32B for it. plan was just to throw it in and leave it, but as time evolves things can change....

4G52 Astron into A53 Galant (GA/GB)
Well, recently i brought a GE SE Sigma as it has a good 4G52 in it. I've done a 4G52 into a GD Galant before and have found it is a nice all rounder engine. Now i plan to use the 4G52 in my A53 Colt Galant (Similar to GA/GB). I know i will need to extend the wiring to run the alternator, run a therm...

Re: GDGalantlover's Unfortunate GE Sigma story...
Wont rebuild it. I pretty much brought it for the 4G52. My Galant's 4G32 isn't very healthy now and I need to do something about the brakes as it would fail an RWC easy as.... I may just throw the 4g52 in it with reconditioned GE Sigma front brakes. I don't have much cash but id rather spend it on c...

GDGalantlover's Unfortunate GE Sigma story...
Well, I'm not new to S-G.com. I've had 3 Galant's in the past and i own a 1971 Mitsubishi Colt Galant A53. I found this 1978 GE Chrysler Sigma on gumtree. The car was located at Rhyndaston (10 mins out of Colebrok) in Tasmania. The Sigma looked clean, was all there and came with a swag of spares. Th...

Re: finally registered... hello sigma galant world
As usual my taste is probably above my budget.. but I do like some coupes, especially GB's. But correct me if I'm wrong, but I've only seen GC and GD coupes in Aus? Maybe I was looking at a Dodge Colt from USA. I'll try to find some pics. But assuming they are too rare or expensive, then maybe a GB...

Re: gdgalantlover's 1974 Mitsubishi Colt Galant 16L A53
Well, strating to think about an engine swap. Bottom end seems tired. I realised a few nights ago that I brought a 4G32B when I brought my GC wagon in January. I'm more on the path of a manual conversion before December. I'm going to use it for my leavers dinner. Here's a list of what I'd really lik...

Hi mate. GC/GD ones should work, may need to file out a notch for it to fit. had to replace a my interior mirror a little while back. A modified HK Holden one works well, but i'd prefer a standard one as the arm slants more towards the windscreen...
