Re: racing bucket seats
Note : Reclining seats are not "racing seats" .... and if it's primarily a road car, you will find that competition-type buckets with high sides will become a PITA very quickly to get in & out of !! That's true..i shoulda been more specific....im looking for more lateral support in a ...

Re: For the sigma automatic guys
Yeah the base model Falcon was a 3-speed auto...however, the later models (of the EA) did run a 4-speed auto....all the Fairmonts and Fairlanes ran this 4-speed box. I believe (dont quote me on this) the BTR was used from about the EF or so.. I've only got this info from an automtaic workshop who (u...

Re: For the sigma automatic guys
Hi Torana
A BW41 is simply a 4-speed BW35...they are used in the EA Falcon and i think some later models before they went to the BTR setup
But the 4 gear (O/D) is electronic and needs the computers to control it

I rememer having alot of trouble trying to find a colour to suit my wagon (GJ) I used the colour of the interors inside other cars to see if they were a similar colour to mine (i had that tan/cream colour with brown) and eventually chose Daintree green which is on the KJ 2003-2004 Mitsubishi Verada'...

Just another option Proton also used Mitsubishi engines and gearboxes. The ones to look at are the Satria GTI hatchback that ran a 1.8L twin cam motor (i believe this is known as a 4G62) and from factory..produced 103kw.....Also the Proton Persona also ran the exact same motor (although these cars a...

It's in metro melb, theres a maccas 5 mins away at Talyors lakes, or theres a BP and maccas 5 mins past the track (outbound) and the same on the inbound side of the freeway.....so u can grab ur feed and the 98 octane fuel (assuming u'll run it) for the bu...

For the sigma automatic guys
Not sure if you know this or not, But i have been told that the valvebody in a BW sigma is infact interchangable with the valvebody with the BW35 Ford automatic...but the BW35 has a more aggressive shift pattern from factory. I've also been told that (assuming ur car runs F/I and runs a computer) th...

Does anyone remember what car was used by the Japanese/Chinese team in Cannonball run (The first one)? Yes the car was a black Subaru Leone. My personal choice is BF Goodrich. i had these on my pepperpots and were a fabulous tyre! (these were on a GJ wagon) I ran 205/60/R15 (directional) and 235/60/R15 (non directional) on the rear.......i had the rear lowered so the top of the rear tyre slipped under the guard but because of the height ...

Re: door trim backing panels
I destroyed my door skins trying to remove them from the door themselves (ripped all the clips out of the boards) So a mate of mine got some MDF boards (about 3-5mm thick) and used the original Sigma door skins as templates and cut up some new skins with a jigsaw. I wrapped them in brown velour at h...

I originally went for a set of OTS Lukey extractors (4-2-1) fitted to a 2 1/4 system.......had a great note...but i went crazy with being unique so i sliced off the last section of the extractors and kept it as a 4-2 setup.....with a 2" pipe running down either side of the car, then bolting on ...
