Looking at the engine from the front, there should be a flat bit sticking out from the very top of the block on the left hand side at the front. That'll have your engine number on it.

When you get the diffs rebuilt.... Nope. It's either got a locked centre or had a diff swap
EX Lancer 1800 GSRs used the same diff with an LSD, but they're pretty rare so I doubt that's what you've got.
