Re: Drag Racing time leader board?
Didn't know this thread existed. At mopar nationals I ran a pb of 13.24 with street tires - that was a mistake because I had to launch soft and shift at 5000rpm.
I've got time slips if needed. Will update when I run again with the new tires, 245 wide slicks on 17s.
Sime.

my mate bought a set of number plates for his chrysler sedan off a bloke who had them on a chrysler charger. he regestered them to his car (as his car already had rego, was just a plate swap) and away he went. anyway, 2 years later he figured out that vicroads reregestered the plates to the chrysler...

Re: OK, so what would you do, 2.6 or 2.4?
sell all the gear off and buy a sr20det create...otherwise just keep the 2.6L if its a car thats gonna be driven daily. the astron makes more power from scratch dosent it? i mean if you work either of them and spend the same amount on either, which would give you more. i reckon the 2.6 personally.

Re: ddt's 1979 GE sigma wagon 'LIL RED WGN'
carb and extractors are what you need to do mods like the cam and headwork. alone they help but they are not the biggest boost. im only speaking from a number of valiants that ive put pacemakers with 2.5 inch exhaust and holley 350 on and it really wansnt a world or gain, they sounded alot better bu...

if you havnt already got it, try get a turbo kit with EVERYTHING. theres nothing worse than having to run around or wait for parts that you dont have or that are missing.

Re: Brake vaccum problem?
it would be easy if it were just a swap for a galant master cylinder, but apparantly its been changed with one off a nissan patrol. that now means that i have to go get one that looks similar, try fit it, realise that it doesnt fit, go back, argue for a swap, come back, realise it still doesnt fit, ...
