That tidied up the gutter very well.

My garnish is twotone, black and chrome, so ultimately I'd like to keep it that way, but that's an idea I'll hang on to.

So, I've got the manifold out and exhaust cut, but gotta drill and tap the head for a stripped stud. The carby kit turned up... When I removed the wheel, to gain access to the steering box, I noticed the Hydraulic brake hose leaking. :banh:

Haha, yeah.

I remember driving my TD Cortina. With a cast iron 250 x-flow over the front, and steering with a 13" SAAS deep dish sporty, :| I looked like Popeye :lol:

Quite lucky actually. My wife dropped our son off at work, a 40 odd klm round trip, and just as she turned into our street, "POP", there goes the power steer hose. :@ Man it's hard to find one of those buggers. Had to get one made up, to the tune of $150. :| :banh: One bloke wanted $220......
