I knew there was some sort of reason partner wet the floor and the outside of the tarps. He has used sheets but sticks to our tarpy type thing lol. Great technical terms I have.. good thing I only do the books ;)

Bunnings or supercheap. Or just a normal paints store few bucks sometimes called drop sheets.. my partner uses wet down (on the outside) tarps for spraying outside

Well, can't fix the dash or the glovebox so there goes that idea.... Getting a new dash cluster from a fellow SGer! And going to get Stainless customs to make me a new glovebox insert in the next few weeks!! yay.. Just need to sort out the brake lines then its off to have a few things added and hope...

Same problem I have with the GA Shuggy... If your going to replace them you may aswell just go with braided thats the way I am going since getting a quote to have the whole line replaced braided is only a little more expensive

AHHHHHH...... So I am pulling the dash apart today and had all the screws out ready to go and I touched the dash surround and it BROKE :l The actual cluster clear plastic is broken as well. This plastic is so brittle. But going to the plastic welding place to see what they can come up with today... ...

cheers superscan... never had anything to do with tailshafts before!!
So far this car has cost about a grand and I havent even touched the insides or most of the outsides :O Its gonna look great when its done!!

Ok so it looks like I have a SIGMA Tailshaft?!?!?! Anyways is $200 a fair price to have a tailshaft shortened and inch and a half or am I being rippe3d off coz I am a chick and made the fatal mistake of going there by myself???

Wagon tailshaft is 117 cm
Sedan 115cm
Needed about a 110cm ish.
Both yokes are the same lenght just different for man and auto obviously lol.

Problem!!!
Fitted the GD diff in perfectly fits everywhere..... Except the tailshaft :O What the hell.
Ok so the tailshaft from the ga (with a tiny diff behind it) is 2 inches too long for the GD wagon diff. Should I just chuck it at the closest tailshaft guy??

Ok so with the GD wagon doors there is the chrome strips around the windows... I only have a few pieces remaining on the GA seems to me they have fallen off as they are not secure at all. So does anyone know if these are welded in place or glued before I go hacking them up? Wanna kinda get them off ...
