Re: M7 head welch plug - for using Sigma cam in Magna head

There's a rubberised plastic plug that pushes in there like the seal does, only seen it in vrs and full gasket sets that cover both models. Get the Id and od sizes and go to a bearing shop, repco and bursons and ask for a blanking plug, they are out there

Re: GC Red Rufus

Is this the one you posted a topic up about on performance forums? If you get a narrow block astron block you can use a early narrow block 5 speed and you dont have to touch the tail shaft. Youll have to cut the shifter hole back slightly, and use the rear bolt holes on the floor pan for your g/box ...

Ive got a wide block astron and 5sp into my lancer with a manual tunnel, gear hole needs a fair bit of cutting, stock engine mounts, radiator space is an issue but doable

The head might have been bent like a bannana, then machined flat without the cam journals being line bored, as speaking real life experience with a saturn where I could quite literallly roxk the cam in the journals.. Either that or the rocker arms/shafts are crook
