Borg Warner 5 Speed

Hey guys Can anyone tell me the difference between a Borg Warner 5 speed and a Jap 5 speed. Are there any distinguishing marks on the casing etc or are the sizes different. I am trying to track down a Borg Warner 5 speed for my GH 2.6 and need to know what I am looking for. Any help appreciated. Jason

Re: GH 5 Speed Troubles

Can anyone recommend someone to look at the gearbox for us in brissy? Or is anyone good at rebuilds?

We spoke to a crowd at Wooloongabba and he wanted well over $1000 without even looking at it...

Just after some opinions of people.

Thanks

Darryl

Now when it runs its not really smooth when u rev it and it only goes to about 3800-4000 rpm. The car easily revs past this as you can...
