Re: info request on this LC hatchback
I saw this car and talked to the owner for a while at all chrysler day. Its got a dodge dakota v6 in it. Lots of custom work in the car and it really shows when looking at it. As for the 5stud wheels, some parts were custom mate from billet steel and the rear is from a ford i think. Fronts were cust...

new LC lancer strut tops?
Hi,
im after some new strut tops for an LC lancer for a mate. looks like they are quite hard to find. Does anyone on here happen to have a part number or know where you can get new ones or even if its possible to fit some from another car? Any help would be great.
Cheers,
Dave

Re: how much did you pay for your engine?
It depends on what you want to get done. I've had a quote to get a 4g32 done with pretty much everything possible. Quote was just under $3k. That was for things like shaved head, port and polish, bigger valves, double valve springs, custom cam grind (stage 3) blueprinted block, fully balanced, oversi...

Re: Creating fender flares
Few questions:
1. Is the foam going to be a perminant fixture? Or is it just to make a mould then reproduce from fibreglass?
2. If the foam is staying, becoming part of the body, how well does it stick?
Looks great tho...... It's opened up loads of ideas for me
Cheers,
Dave

Re: [SA] Event's and Cruises
Yeah, the mopar mega cruise was great! Some nice cars there. There was a MINT sigma turbo that looked like it had just come out of the factory! Had well under 100000 k's on the clock and was all original. The guy had it from new I think. Pretty sure it was number 269 or there abouts... http://i258.p...

Starion rear end into lancer?
Hi all, Just curious if anyone has done/ tried or if it's at all possible to put a JA starion rear end ( diff, brakes, suspension etc ) into an LC lancer? I'm pretty sure they are an independent rear suspension system which would improve the handling of the lancer heaps, as well as having an LSD etc...

Re: 2.6 Power Expectations
As far as reliability go, the more you do to an engine, the more can go wrong with it. Especially where electrics are involved. Provided the work is done properly and by someone who knows what they're doing, you shouldn't have too many problems. ( mostly talking about oversized bores etc )....... Ju...
