Sounds like your all over it. Add using 4g63 and it all can get very confusing fast. Keep us posted on how you go.

Re: flywheel variations help needed

Auto 2.6l may be narrow blocks from memory. Measuring from bolt hole to bolt hole across the block might be best if your not sure what block your got.

Re: flywheel variations help needed

Use a narrow block flywheel on and narrow block and same deal with the 2.6l wide blocks where you use the wide block flywheel. There are a few exceptions but 2l and smaller are narrow blocks and 2.6l is wide.

Re: Lancer race car - Sway Bar

By the info provided it would appear we are learning off you. If able I'd love to hear how it works out. As you said not a lot of options. I ended up running a second bar under the stock one and clamping them together. It's not good look but seems to work. I will keep an eye out for how your new bar...

It will be a priming issue. Take the spark plugs out and crank the motor over and it should prime its self.

Re: Performance improvements (or swap) with few parts?

First step is find out if your new gearbox has a wide or narrow bellhousing. From there your can work out which motor to use.

Red (311mm) is narrow, blue (337mm) is wide.
