4-5cm and 1-2degress from memory. I've got both arms sitting here but no sigma ball joints so I can't measure them.

Re: Bushes that Suit Sigma, Scorpion, Lancer and Starion???

There are two types of Sigma LCA's, GE-GH And GJ onwards (and maybe more given that they were made by Mitsubishi...). The GE-GH are the same length as Lancer so no use, but the GJ onwards ones are longer. All you need to get them to work in a Lancer is drill out the centre of the inner bolt plate an...

Re: Are aftermarket swaybars available?

I purchased a front and rear bar from k-mac a few years back. The front was an add-on bar and made the car too stiff for my liking, the rear was never fitted as the fuel system got in the way. Matt, general rule of thumb is you won't want a rear sway bar on the dirt. However, you can get fancy and m...

Re: Querie K-Mac strut tops

I've got a set of the k-mac stage 2 ones that I had in both my LA and LC Lancers. The only real problem I had was that the centre section that holds in the bearing is screwed in and undoes it self when you tighten up the shock bolt. I pulled them apart, added locktite and the problem went away. Conv...

Stock ratio on a road, circuit and rally car are fine unless you have a big diameter steering wheel or something wrong with your front end geometry reducing turn in.

Trailers don't have to turn, run any sort of camber or castor or worry about pad knock off from hubs flexing. The forces are very different and I wouldn't trust them at all.

Re: need axels PCD redrilled....where can this be done?

http://bosnjakengineering.com/ 4-stud to 4-stud won't require any welding, you just make additional holes. Welding up holes on an axle makes it more brittle which is not a good thing. Whilst they are doing the stud pattern change, check out the centre bore on the axle, ideally you want the wheels lo...

Re: Mr Bishis big brake upgrade in a Galant.

Im not sure ANY brake upgrade with 'spacers' in it will pass engineers. I know it won't in Victoria unless you get a real easy going shop, but if the police see them your in trouble... So if you MUST use them then have them machined the same size as the rotor so they blend in once painted black. We...

Re: Mr Bishis big brake upgrade in a Galant.

Mine are 385mm from the top of the shock to the bottom of the flange. I need shorter ones to work with the new setup so it looks like these shocks could be a good starting point. I'll need to make up some spacers so they don't move around in the bigger struts but that shouldn't be hard.

Re: Mr Bishis big brake upgrade in a Galant.

New setup is Nissan 4-spots, it's a little more fiddly than the commodore setup but should be worth the effort for the new car setup. The old setup will be for sale as soon I can get them off the car, which may be a week or two away. There is nothing "wrong" with the Commodore/NSX setup. I...

Re: 4G32 Twin Cam

Head gasket is off the shelf 4G32/37 depending on your bore size, the rest have to be made up, nothing available. The half-moon rubbers at the back of the rocker cover are available from another car, but I can't remember which one.
