hey iv got got a magna donk here for parts 2.6 narrow, and in my galant im running a efi 2.6 with sigma bottom end, the question is are the cranks intercangable, cant see why they wouldnt be, both narrow block 2.6s, i want to have work done on the crank with out ripping my car a part cheers

yer i was thinking bout things i could do to a 1600 to make it go better for a while, i thought, sc14, turbo, na build with webbers on it and a cam, buy the time ya spen the money on it, and the fuel it would use a 2.6 was the better option imo, i went with a efi 2.6 in my daily galant gd wagon, bee...

iv never done it nor seen one in one, but from what i know about hemis they are a very long engine, would near be less hassel to put a v8 in or v6 imo

iv got a l200 with a starion 4g63 in it mate, and has galant mpi on it, knowing what i do now i feel we would of used the l300 van inlet set up, as they are allready set up for rwd, but the tbody sits over the rocker cover so thats somthing i would change

where bout does it bolt to ? Through the rear floor. I've also got another one that is welded to the inside of the rear bumper brackets and hidden under the rear bar (much tidier set up, well, less obvious anyway). The mountings are completely different, the wagon top and base are both on hinges and the top is held in place by catches. after looking at the rear doors again i see that the are diffrent, didnt realise that the front doors on a gd wagon to a gd sedan arnt the same tho, i wasnt sure if the rear cushions would go on the hinges

bit of an update i cleaned the carby out , got rid of that mesh filter as it was buggerd, replaced the fuel pump with one i had, replaced the fuel filter 4 times (thanks work store room haha lol) as i kept geting big shit in it, cleaned the tank out, every now and again as ya are driving it will los...

what i did with mine mate was drained the fuel in to a big drum, then filtered the fuel through a rag 3 or 4 times, it come out heaps cleaner, and got the compressed air in the lines and cleaned them out, ( not into the tank lol haha) replaced the filter again, and kept a few in the back in case, i ...

Is it still running the original rubber fuel lines under the bonnet (tank -> filter -> pump -> carb) ? If so, replace them. well last night i noticed my fuel pump wasnt sucking at the inlet, so i ripped it off and when i took the outlet hose off it was under presure, but the float bowl was near empty in the eye glass any ways, so i ripped the top off the carby to have a look and there was some shit in there, so i cleaned...

i dont know about this part There should be a very fine metal mesh filter in the fuel inlet at the carburettor. To get to it you need to remove the top of the carburettor and the float. The filter is under the needle and seat. The filter will collect very fine sediment that can pass through the nor...

its got a new fuel filter in in mate, im thinkn it may be a dizzy problem, my mate said the advance buggered up on one he had and done pretty much the same thing

iv got a gd wagon with a 4g32 chain, its all stock, dunno bout the carby as it is manual choke, i can be driving it and it will be goin all sweet then all of a sudden it will try to brake down then will come right, every now and again ya pull up then go to take off again and ya have no power it dosn...

They are piston ring seal turbo's at the compressor end which can't handle vacuum behind the carby throttle plate. It will cause it to suck oil through the seal. Try a blow through set up with a webber.
