Re: Cottees' Sigma GN Build

Try this... turn car to ignition position to pressurise the system, then turn off. Grab vice grips and pinch the return fuel line (this will stop the regulator giving the fuel back to the tank. Turn ignition on again and then remove the fuel pump relay once it has primed. then try starting the car. ...

Sigmoe you are going about it correctly. A press would make it 400% easier but yes burn and cut it your next option. So keep up the good work.

I would also suggest soaking in CRC to assist the movement department.

OK bring me up to speed because that does not sound right at all..... 1. Roller rockers or standard rockers? 2. Oil pressure? 3. timing chain tension? 4. exhuast leaks? something definately doesnt sound right. Have you gone through the TPS setup proceedure? Was this a running motor before EFI? Cheers

Yes it is similar in principle to the detroit but heaps more predictable and smoother. A full spool replaces the centre hemisphere, which you then bolt your crown wheel too, a mini spool replaces the spider gears and keeps the hemisphere. But yes the locker will replace the spider gears. Yes it is N...

Low Oil pressure warning light is pretty pointless unless you can set it to a minimum psi, if it comes on at 7000 rpm the engine will be rooted before you notice Amgis_obrut is correct here and something I didnt explain properly. I selected a sender which went on at 40PSI which means at idle it is ...

As soon as you weld there will be need for engineering. If you bolt then you will have a reuseble setup and no engineering. I would plate it and then bolt to the plate. Make sure all corners ar shamfered and no sharp edges, stress relieve the holes with rounding edges to help as well. (use rat tail ...
