Re: Scorpion brakes on GE Sigma?
It helps some, though of course all of our Challenger/Sapporos and GE equivalent Sigma wagons over here have the Jap diffs as far as I know. We never had the BW transmissions or rear ends over here.

Scorpion brakes on GE Sigma?
Is it possible to transfer the rear disc brake setup from a Scorpion over to a GE Sigma? From what I can tell at least a GE/GH Scorps to the GE Sigmas have the same rear axles, but of course the Scorps have disc while the sigmas have drums. So I'm wondering if I acquire all the brake parts for a Sco...

GC Hardtop/GD headlight bucket spacing
On those cars, how far from the radiator core support are the buckets spaced out? If I recall they stick out a fair amount on brackets vs right on the support as on a GB Galant nor are they removable.
Doing the quad headlight conversion on my coupe using GB buckets and kinda need this info.

Re: Seeking proof of factory GC with 4g52
The 1974 to early 77 Colt GTs and Colt Carousels came standard with the 4g52 in the US. These would be the GC equivalents since we didn't get a quad headlight (GD/GC hardtop) version here for 74-77 Galants. It was also an option on sedan and wagons here.

Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
Longtime revival, ordered up coilovers, 4 link and watts link parts. Early next year we will finally see this car back on the road to an extent with at least the suspension completed. Got a engine sitting on a engine stand currently that just needs all the gaskets and seals replaced then I can drop ...

Re: Picked up a Pajero
Well that Pajero was short lived. Radiator cracked a few months ago, which led shortly to getting the engine too hot and cracked the heads, so I replaced them. Then last friday, it threw a rod....awesome. Now? I have another one already, that needed what looked like just suspension and front diff an...

This forum has a lot of resources as well as ClassicColt. I haven't ventured onto 70sColtgalants in a while. You'll find most of the US/Canada based owners on ClassicColt, although a few of us are on here as well and JNC.

Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
No more g63t swap, was going to do a g52b swap, but being that I have g54b in my posession currently, that will most likely be going in now on top of i have a trans for it :). I got pretty much everything to put the car back together now though, gotta get a pedal assembly, brake master, and GT clust...

Re: Picked up a Pajero
Took it out for the first time :), Not too bad with the LSD, but the open front diff caused the most issue. Also I'm down to just 2 mudflaps, it came with 3 intact. However in my wheeling adventure earlier (Friday), one ripped off somewhere. There's a Gen 2 at the local wreckers near me, that I have...

Re: Ebay turbochargers?
however the ratio of failures to Good turbos is far far far less than failures to Ebay turbos, that it shouldn't even be a consideration to risk any sort of damage to your engine. A Quality turbo, yeah can fail over time, most often due to fatigue or to owner's neglect if say the turbo gets starved ...

i was thinking same thing bout fucking edit button and do you reckon id need 0ga or will 4 do ? At least 2ga for the Positive. You have to compensate for voltage drop across the distance from the trunk back to the front. Negative can be 4 gauge from terminal to ground point on body, then be sure to...

I call it the party roof because of its location. Haven't found any actual rust yet but nor have I looked real hard, because that isn't really an issue in the region of the US I amlocated. I'll look into a trans cooler and servicing it.

Autopals are a good quality brand too, fairly cheap on ebay and are the H4 conversion lights. Come in both 5.75" and 7" lights, bought a set for my wagon last year.

Starion struts also fit with their knuckles too and their hub, but I'm sure they are like GH struts and require at least 14" wheels (no a galant caliper will not bolt onto a starion hub). Use your stock tops and springs on them and being that you guys didn't actually get widebody starions, flat...
