Re: quick headcount
Hey guys Matt here. I did an intro somewhere else a while back but I really like the Lancer headcount idea. I have a white 77 LB 4door 1.6L, A 2door LA shell nobody wants & a driveway full of a LB hatch in bits being parted out currently. I live near Nth Syd & have loved Lancers since I was ...

Re: Cottees' 1977 Chrysler Lancer LB resto
I am wondering if anyone knows the deal with the tail light surrounds - I have never seen these on a LB sedan in AUS. Mine & all the others I have seen or remembered seeing have the shorter surrounds (they end well before the No. plate). These I have seen overseas, but not in AUS. Just wondering...

Re: 4G32 Timing Belt availability.
After trying to source a new fuel pump for my belt drive 4g32 I found there were some differences in the belt drive series..... due to my fuel pump being different to the earlier models I have found that it seems to be off at '81 - 85 L300 1.6L. I spose the differences might be due to having a balan...

Re: 2 door LA build-hillclimb car
Looks good.
Seems to need a little work, but not too bad for a 2 door.
Can't wait to see the wheels on it!

Re: La Lancer Weight.
You probably have it sorted by now, I'd love to hear what you have found.
It got me thinking & I pulled out the weigh bridge ticket from when I had to get the blue slip for my 4 door LB (4G32).... 875kgs
Not sure if the 2.6L is possible anymore in NSW, I would love to be corrected tho!

Re: stock seats are not good (crep)
I had a guy come over to get some bits of the Lancer hatch & he said the backrests were starion..... they must be pretty similar if the backrests bolt up to the base.
My LB sedan came with MX-5 seats, they work great & similar size but 'might end up with dramas with the fuzz one day.
