4G32 Alternator Upgrade

Hi guys, just a quick inquiry here.. will an alternator for a 4G63 be a direct swap on a 4G32. I'm just looking for an upgrade, stock 32 alternators are only rated up to 45A and I'm looking for a direct bolt on, like somewhere around 75A-90A range.
Thanks..

4G52 Valve Spring

Hey guys,

Can the 4G52 valve springs be used in a 4G32 engine? I'm on the market for some new springs and all I can find are these ITM and Melling brands, ITM (DODGE COLT RWD- 4-2000 2.0L SOHC (75 - 77) and Melling (PLYMOUTH ARROW- 4-2000 2.0L SOHC (77 - 78). :\ thanks..

Re: Need help on my 4g32

Interesting topic, had my share of this vapor lock thing, thinking about getting an electric type soon.. What would be the recommended pressure for a factory single down solex/mikuni carb, 'coz I'm looking at this Facet fuel pump on-line & one has a 4-6PSI, 30GPH rating while the other one has a...

Re: 4G32 Valve Spring

I think the dual springs are a bit too much for my application since the engine is basically stock, a slight upgrade on the single would be great.

I have here the data of the 4G63 SOHC and DOHC springs, can't figure out which of the two is compatible or has the same diameter with the 4G32 springs.

Re: 4G32 Valve Spring

I don't have any idea if it has a color code. But I have here a couple of color codes for the valve springs, just wondering if these are still available. Planning to change my springs since they've been in there for more than 30yrs.

Re: 4G32 Valve Spring

4g32gs =
free length - 46.3mm
load - 27.9kg @ 37.3mm (closed valve)
- 62.0kg @ 27.8mm (opne valve)

Does anybody know if this type of spring is still available, or maybe some aftermarket springs with the same specs?

Re: 4G32 Valve Spring

I'm not quite sure but I think they still do, you just have to call in first. The #3 is way better than the #6, right?

Bushings

I was wondering if anyone has a list (dimensions) of the bushings for a GD Galant, mine are starting to crack and peel off, guess they don't make durable replacement bushings like they used to. I thought about getting the urethane ones and tried browsing these sites.. www.prothane.com and www.energy...

Re: 4G32 Valve Spring

Thanks for the info guys, not quite familiar with this engine yet. Although I'm not trying to set it up to race specs, I only have a stock carburetor, I just want to maximize my current set-up or maybe add a little kick to it ..well, if this old horse still has. I have another question here, since m...

4G32 Valve Spring

Hi guys, how's it going. I just have a couple of questions here. I have a 4G32 chain type saturn engine with stock internals, well except for the camshaft, it used to have a cam#1 then recently had it replaced with a cam#6. There was a significant improvement on the engine, but at RPMs over 6500 it ...
