you're in as good a location as any to source gto bits as many were sold in nz having said that just about everything has dried up in the past 5 years keep your eyes on trademe and post a build thread on oldschool forum to help network rarespares sells a generic rubber that fits between the side gla...

i seem to recall being told you use the 4g32 twin cam clutch? or is that not right?

don't need anything racelike just for hi-perf street use <150bhp

$250 delivered to my shop price of 2.6 crate motor narrow block kid you not guy was an engine builder and had this sitting in his shop unclaimed for 10 years totally stock except for balance shaft & jet valve removal stock exhaust only thing special is twin sidedraughts once i got the tuning dia...

@sigproj thx much the made in japan HKB OM-10 boss is MUCH MUCH better indicator cancel rods are in correct position horn button fits snug funny there's a cheap china knockoff of the OM-10 http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Racing-Steering-Wheel-Adaptor-Boss-Kit-Hub-Connector/400950_566550877.h...

if you have no need to adjust camber you're probably better off sticking with the factory original strut hats

almost forgot there was yet ANOTHER issue with the malays boss... spline wasn't quite snug!
i can just imagine the boss wearing and breaking loose from the steering shaft :mad:

in sum:

1) ~10mm gap
2) spline nut bottoms out (needs spacer)
3) horn button pops out
4) not snug on spline

bought one of those malaysia made bosses. ~10mm gap normal? :facepalm:

anybody know where to buy a better boss? looks like '70-'87 all use the same spline?
