lol cheers guys.
Yeah Luke, this site needs more rotary sigmas
Anyway, wondering if anyone has seen my old sigma getting around? No idea where its at now. If I were to own another mitsubishi, it would probably be a Galant GTO. Miss the sound of my old sigma, toughest idle going around!

Isn't that the Bluebird S3 with the (factory) headphones in the back...i remember reading a thread on a car identical to this (minus the polished wheels) I noticed you're at Narre Warren Autobarn annual car show too  Yep, I did make a thread when I first bought the car awhile back. Its al...

Hi everyone, Some of you may remember me when I used to be on here quite often with that Canary yellow GJ Sigma. I thought Id update what Ive been up to in the car world. Ever since I sold my sigma, Ive gotten into Datsuns (flame suit on). Buying myself 2 910 Bluebirds along the way and now finally ...

No fuel injection for this beast! After owning the canary sigma with that crazy 4g54, I cant steer away from the sound of twin carbs screaming!

Re: S3 Nissan Bluebird TRX, yes a Datsun! :)
Woah! The only Bluebirds I see getting around these days are usually clapped out olive green ones that have more bog and primer than OEM paint. That thing is unbelievably tidy! I have seen a VG30 V6 in one of these, no idea what sort of work that would involve though. Would make a nice sleeper crui...

Re: S3 Nissan Bluebird TRX, yes a Nissan :)
Cheers guys :) The headphone system is the true definition of retro lol. They werent working before but I worked out the factory wiring and sourced a factory loom to fix it. Not many bluebirds had rear headphones and most of them dont work as the wiring was super weird from factory. The headphones w...

whitewall or paint letters
Just finished repolishing up my Passage GT wheels! I was planning to white wall them in the next couple days, however it just hit me that maybe painting the words on the tyres would be unique and also look good. Im running a set of Pirelli P6 tyres, Pirelli did participate in racing though. Opinions...

Re: Peter Wherrett/Sigma turbo wheels touching strut
The car has king springs and monroe shocks I think. The previous owner put in the suspension set up so I dont know too much about it. I may have to test fit the other wheel and see if it touches on the other side, but its frustrating as I need the polished wheels for my other car. Can the hubs be mo...

Peter Wherrett/Sigma turbo wheels touching strut
Hi everyone,
Im in the process of putting a set of Wherretts onto my GJ Sigma. Tyres are 195/60/15 and for some strange reason, the fronts nick the struts very slightly?? Car has been lowered and the shocks may be different but I wouldnt have thought the wheels would touch.
Any solutions?

Re: Stereo systems
With speakers, I recommend to steer away from 6x9s unless you dont plan to run subwoofers. IMO, I would run a subwoofer one way or another, even just a slimline under the seats. 6x9s do not have the stability of a round speaker thus does not generate as high SQ. I have discovered that coaxials are n...

Re: custom instrument panel
I run 4 gauges on my dash as per my ride thread.
Apart from this, I did try and change globes behind the dash cluster but due to the orange coloured numbers, coloured LEDs dont work well. I would think you will need to custom make gauge faces with transparent numbers ideally.

You should maybe try to distance yourself from mainstream and get into the high end scene. Audio is cheap nowadays considering the economy

Re: Luke, Mitsubishi's Community Manager, Facebook & Competition
Disappointed in this competition...not because a sigma wasnt there, not because an old mitsu wasnt there or because I wasnt a finalist. Its because I felt the finalists chosen by mitsubishi were solely to benefit themselves (referring to videos) and the pictures were just a lucky pick out of the lot...

I see. The only reason why I asked if that I might be buying another sigma and I already have a set of these twin carbies, so out popped the idea of a hi flow ported magna head using these carbies. But realistically, probably not worth the effort. If I was going to invest in hi flowing a head, I mig...

How do the headers on ebay for our sigmas fair? Anyone tried them out? I might be buying another sigma soon so might be looking at getting an exhaust system made up. Ive already scored myself a Magnaflow stainless muffler on ebay but its a 3" one. Oh well lol, will just flare the pipe and weld ...
