Re: TUFSIG, GK Sigma GSR 2.6 EFI Turbo

Not sure if you have pulled the car apart yet but if she is still blowing smoke after a turbo rebuild, check the size of the hole in the oil supply fitting. The turbo may be getting too much oil and it forces it past the seals. Check the drain is big enough too. Some turbo's only need 1-2mm for the...

Nice GSR mate. never seen a white one with a brown interior before all the ones i have had have been blue. Interesting point. You have probably seen more GSR's than I have and I have only seen other white ones with blue interior also. I know mine was originally owned by Mitsubishi Australia Melbour...

Re: Galant in the Targa Tasmania!

don't worry Dave, Dan can definitely drive the thing. That's good to hear. I'm sick of the Datsun, Ford, Mazda and Toyota's getting so many people who are prepared to build and race their products. Old School Mitsu stuff is just as good to match it with all of them, but no one seems to recognise th...

Re: TUFSIG, GK Sigma GSR 2.6 EFI Turbo

I think it has a base tune to get you running to the point the car will turn on but besides that i don't think anyone would have a tune to run a EFI turbo astron.

Re: magna efi with a turbo

Stay away from fuel only ECUs they are not worth the time i currently have a microtech fuel only with a vac advanced dizzy, i have a Haltech sprint 500 with coils to go in shortly, i would recommend doing this than doing anything with a fuel only ECU

I bought a very tidy 1600 in 1992 for $600. They are worth money now because people abused them and most ended up in the scrap heap.
This is why I encourage people like you to do the same to Mitsubishis :D
you wish is his command ahaha

i think if people only put motors that are supposed to be in cars then the modified car scene would be quite boring, Jason honestly it has way to much bog to be used for anything else

Re: TUFSIG, GK Sigma GSR 2.6 EFI Turbo

Nope not at this point, as it is the PWS is still complete under covers, my temp plan was to hill climb it and put my 2lt carby turbo stuff on it but at this stage i just want to focus on one thing at a time, spread yourself to thin and i find you get less done. Took a while to accept that logic tho...
