help. ignition problem

It's been a while folks. I need your help! I have a 4G32 and the dizzy has Sigma electronic guts with a Sigma module. My issue is that when I am accelerating, when I reach 4000rpm the tacho launches to 8000 rpm for a second and the engine jumps a little. The hotter the day the worse it is and doesn'...

Knox is ok. They make them oversize so you have to trim them. But make sure you tell them to make the firewall end 15cm longer so it goes all the way up. I conplained about that

4g32 serpentine belt conversion kit

So now I have the 85a magna alternator, but now the belt squeal is really getting to me and the belt is wearing out quick. I'm going to look into getting a set of pulleys made up to suit (crank & water pump). For serpentine belt. Who would be Keen to buy a set? Obviously will be cheaper if there...

Re: REVS

He is talking about tacho not actual revs I think?

Just sounds like a loose wire

Check the wires on the negative side of the coil and fiddle with the wires up behind the dash.

Also just try tapping it while engine on to see if it's stuck

It's just weird how I filled them with solvent and poked with a screwdriver and they didn't drain. Possible that they used the same cast but didn't drill them out?

they are completely different ratios

I had this problem, it was that the master wasnt retracting all the way to allow the piston to open up the return valve. I put a washer between the master and the booster on both bolts and all sweet now
