Re: scorpion booster in gb galant
I didn't use a Scorp one, but did modify a Lancer one to fit an old GC I used to have. Should be easy enough to do, as long as there's room in there! Are you doing anything else to the brakes? GA/GB was all-drums, right? Good luck with the project! The gb had disc upfront originally and drums on th...

Re: Creating fender flares
Just want to make sure everyone knows that whats on the car at the moment is expandable foam, it is very easy to shape and sand to shape, this is fairly easy, once you have the right shape on all four flares you then have to use body filler over the faom and sand down till its perfect, then spray th...

Re: Creating fender flares
Thanks mate, i was thinking of getting some bolt on universal flares but wasnt willing to spend over $200 for flares that dont fit and have to be bolted through. Yeah they will be color matched and it can definitely be a much cleaner look as you can shape these to suit the lines of the car. Just alo...

Re: Creating fender flares
Looking good so far. How do you think you'll go matching that on the rear as there's less room (because of the door). already started one of the back flares and yeah that was the hard part to match the front with out going on to the door and in the end had to go on to the door to make it look any g...

Re: 1972 GB4g63t BUILD
its a 4g63 out a vr4 or lancer evo 1,2,3, they are a narrow bolt pattern so pretty much bolt straight in to any early mitsubishi/chryslers that had the narrow bolt pattern engines so the galants, some lancers some sigmas some scorpions i believe. So yes it is rwd and if you have a manual it does bol...

see how it goes i have seen quiet a few people upgrade their brakes with no booster, just have to wait and see i suppose, but i definitely don't plan on doing it if i dont have to, the car hasnt got any heavier, so with these brakes it should be stopping a lot better and thats the main thing

the problem is you need to find out whats going to work from scratch, and spend alot of money to do it, where as silvias are cheap and tried and tested and parts ready to bolt straight in to get ya goin, i can see the idea behind the concept that it would be cool to have something different but you ...

Re: Built for drift
for drift you need power and a good amount of it too, there has to be enough to be able to flatter the accelerator and actual get a response at the back treads and the better you get the more power you will want so you can extend your drift and power out of the corners, if you can find a 2.6l n/a mo...
