Re: tubbys GN panel van project
That is one sweet looking panel van (H) (H) I've wanted to do this to a hight-top sigma wagon since the late 80's but I'm glad I left it to someone with better welding skills than mine   I can't wait to see it with the right set of wheels on it. Do you have to make any brackets o...

I'm in for #8 for the go-karts Dan. (Probably #8 in the placings too but I hope I'll do better. )

Re: Parramatta Cruise 23/5/2010
More photos from the cruise today - a present from the passenger seat. They're mostly from the trip down because we were too busy talking at Parramatta. We did get some sunshine! Heaps better than yesterday. http://i47.tinypic.com/oh8vp0.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/2nuhq9v.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/...

Re: 84 GSR owner here
My Mrs was reading over my shoulder - her eyes were only for the Monaro... I'll have to forgive her for that I like the colour of it. There was a Charger near my old place in that colour too. As for the Sigma - I just posted some inspiration http://www.sigma-galant.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=4112 ...

That's a seriously nice car! Is the colour a custom mix?

Re: New to site, :D
G'day Chris - Congrats and Welcome
I was about to say the same thing as 75wagon re uploading photos.
What he forgot to say was we've got a cruise day coming up why don't you come along? It'll be local for all Sydney siders.

Re: the colt...
You can get some speed out of the colt if you shift the dual range right - go from 2nd economy into 3rd power in one motion. :D People pay lots of money for close ratio gearboxes but the colt (and cordia) had one built in. I did find that the RB, RC ones did wear something in the box that...

Re: 1984 Mitsubishi Scorpion GL Sunchaser Convertible
And one GE convertible. Almost a year after the original post... :$ have you got any pics? I've always thought the GE would be a neater convertible because the tops of the doors line through all the way from the mirrors to the bottom of the rear screen and the C pillar is detailed separately. I lov...

Re: What's you daily?
We all know the feeling of freedom that comes when we sit down behind the wheel and take to the open road. There is only one thing that brings me crashing down from that feeling...traffic :banh: Granted it's not so bad now I live in Necastle rather than Sydney but traffic is the reason my daily is C...

Re: GN Sigma ideas
Good idea, but it will be won or lost in the detail - Determining the line where the two-tone paint changes to the next colour is tricky. Too low down and it'll look like an afterthought; too high up and it'll look like a taxicab. If it were me I'd pick a really classy colour and do a really good jo...

Thanks for letting me ride
G'day all, It's Stephen, Dave(75wagon)'s brother-in-law. Thanks for letting me ride with you yesterday, I had a really great day! I'm only sorry I had to leave early - I had responsibilities in Sydney I needed to be back in time to do...before the traffic got too bad... How was the trip h...
