Re: Decent parts for a 4g54

Time and money isn't really an issue... I might end up doing an efi turbo setup, but I'm more looking into just efi for now.. If I can use a stock ecu I will for now. As for purposes.. Just a respectable daily that will see the odd lap or 2 :) Something like this. OS pistons OS valves Lightened/bala...

But! If all else fails... I may still sell the running gear to you..

No... Just a few things have come up... Looking at building a 2.6 properly... All new parts, all good parts. Strong enough to stand up to efi later on.

After a parts list for good 4g54 stuff (wiseco pistons listing, etc).

Don't care if they're US, JP, or anywhere else..

Cheers,

The car above has rather large bolt on flares, so no doubt they're a 9" front and a 10/11" rear...

Re: 76 GD Wagon (daily Battle wagon)

For a tacho you need power (acc. Usually red wire), earth (black, as usual :P ), and tach source (green. Which you have right, -ve side of the coil).

All you're missing is power :) also, the white wires are the lighting. Tap that into your light switch ;-)

Re: scorpian / automatic neutral safety wiring?

I know with a galant there's an inhibitor switch in the console, on the end of the plug for it there 4 wires. (2x B/Y (black with yellow tracer), and a BL/w (blue with white). Join the B/y wire together (if you put a switch in between those 2 wires, you then have a kill switch).. Then with the last ...

Re: how much did you pay for your engine?

Mines very thirsty! I do about 2 laps of slow driving around my 1 acre house yard and it drinks 2L of petrol...

If I give it any stick, I'll get 2 lap... You can actually watch the fuel level lower when you're stationary but revving (warm ups etc)...
