Hyundai Motors - Which ones work with what?

Was looking at some type of four door hyundai today, and it had a 1.8 DOHC motor in it. Virtually identical to a 4G63. So I assume it will bolt in, but are the 1.8 and 2.0 DOHC heads the same? Like would it be possible to bolt the 1.8 head onto a sohc 4g63 and off we go is there more to it? Also is ...

Will this bolt straight into a GE, its a 4G63 of some desription from an '88 Galant Haven't pulled the box off yet but will the astron 2.0l flywheel go straight on? Does anyone know how good, and how well these galants are on fuel? http://i647.photobucket.com/albums/uu191/valitank/IMG_0911_zpse2fc65...

Motor Swaps - Not the usual ones

Just thinking about a few quirky engine swaps... What would it take to put a 4D56 Diesel in? A mate has a Triton with one of these motors and gets respectable fuel economy despite having big tires.. I'd imagine in a more aerodynamic sigma - as apposed to a triton would surely mean that the thing wil...

Starion/Sapparo Automatic?

Hi All,
I must be having a brainwave tonight lol. Just wondering will the starion auto box bolt up to a wide block or narrow block astron 2.6 from a GN Sigma. are they a bolt in to a ge sedan? and are they tough enough to cope with a turbo? Are they 4 speed? Cheers

This is a separate project to my 2.6 Gold GE SE Turbo Project. So the 2ltr would be the best for economy then? as thats the main goal here is maximum ecomony less fuel used = the better lol money wise what ever goes. ill rebuild what ever goes in there myself
