Best way to stop it rusting is put it in a shed.
Everything else is a compromise.

Re: N/A Weber exhaust size recommendations?
Single 45mm weber is a waste of time, either go twins with a cam or just leave it as is.
Just stick a 2 1/4 exhaust on it with straight through mufflers.

Re: 1978 GE Sigma/Galant Rear brake drum question
I have always just pressure washed the whole shebang with the drum off, put a new wheel cylinder on for all of $10-15 and then bleed brakes and then your good to go.

For mega hp auto wins. Having a bolt on proper auto is handy too(904) specially when your paying wrecker prices for the box :D. I'l stick with my little girly powers (currently135kw on 6psi) and jap 5spd in the galant. At most il have around 180rwkw once the wolf3d is on an tuned with some more boos...

Re: Sigma rear coil springs ?
Wagons ran the GE GH setup on the diff that had the spring located on the trailing arm, the later model stuff ran the spring ontop the diff.
So i would assume they would be different.

There about the same in real world terms, just the 34 is about 15 years newer and has an electric choke which works realy well.
Ive used both.

Re: Camira strut inserts?
Ive got camira inserts in gh green legs that were shortened, its not so much the stroke thats shorter but the actual strut itself so you get extra travel when its lowered. I think they were about 100mm shorter that stock. so you just chop 100mm out of the strut body, i have custom top mounts so i ca...

Re: More silly 4G54 Questions
All sigma timing covers are the same, so you can use your busted ass 2ltr stuff on a magna motor.
No need for manual magna, just use the 2ltr flywheel an buy a new clutch to suit 2ltr sigma(i guess your using a 2ltr 5sd)

Re: Gh strut conv.
Green legs have bolt on calliper brackets instead of having them cast into the leg base, means that if you want to put 4 pots or whatever calliper on, you just get bracket made up to bolt to the strut. Makes putting different calliper on very easy, if you have no intention of doing that then just us...
