ive upgraded the earth cable, and the car roll starts.. i have no reason to believe the motor is seized so how it actually broke is... the battery cable came off... so i went to put it back on, and as i did my girlfriend decided to crank it over :shock: , while it was still in gear :( ... im guessin...

lol... just read your signature... my dad has a 1974 transit... with a 250 pre crossflow though, still better thav the v4 :) stick a falcon diff in it and it will fly :lol: forgot to mention its a 2 1/2 tonne camper.. if it didnt have the dual rear axle it probably would have died a long time ago

im not actually planning on doing it... i just always figured mitsubishi shouldve chucked a 6 in the sigma and gone up against falcons and commodores..
endlss... you wouldnt be able to scan that mag would you? id love to read about a factory 265 sigma.. did they lengthen the nose?

this is realllly starting to piss me off... starter motor tested fine... but on the car only the solenoid clicks... no starting... umm... what could be wrong? the wiring SHOULD be fine because the sigma starter worked... even if it did grind (by the way... the bearings in that starter are rooted, lo...

on another note i found a good starter under my porch... gee, thats 6 starters ive been able to find... i think i have too many mitsubishis......

those longer rods sound perfect... as soon as i can afford some forged pistons my bottom end should be pretty bullet proof with both right? are the starion lead/copper (i think) bearings the best ones to use? in the mean time... do you reckon id have more fun blowing up the stock astron 1 with my tu...

hmmm... my gh workshop manual lists both bosch and lucas(i think) starter motors... i just tested my spare magna one today and the motor works but the solenoids rooted... the original magna one that stopped working is on my gh (testing it before i figured out how to do it with jumper cables)... hope...

hi guys.... is a short fat sigma starter motor actually supposed to work in a magna or is the flywheel different or something?? ive got one in there... but it doesnt sound healthy... it makes a grinding noise... it seems to have a lot of trouble turning over... and it doesnt disengage once the cars ...

hmm... tp's dont have m7 heads do they... so if the head on my tr was an m7 head and i used that... are there any pistons out there i could use to bring compression back up to 7.5-8?? anyone out there made a 2.4? i just like the idea of a square bore/stroke... should be revvier shouldnt it? i just w...

so what happens if you put 2.6 pistons in a 2l or a 2l crank in a 2.6...
youd loose a fair bit of compression height wouldnt you?

hey guys, anyone know what compression ratio i'll end up with if i put a tp magna head on an astron 1 2.6? someone said around 6-7:1... anyone got anymore accurate info? also... if i put a 2.0 crank in my 2.6 block... that would lower the c/r even further wouldnt it? are the 2l pistons taller? are t...
