my torque wrench only goes to 260 ftlbs so i did that. i must have had dodgey bolts cos i snapped the heads off two of them and might go to plan B.

Plan B - Can i make a gasket using chemi weld?

First outing with the auto and the ring gear was destroyed half track and ran 12.5 @ 86 mph

On my Saturn I used some grey stuff in a tube. Sikaflex? Just follow the instructions on the tube closely. No cork gasket, in fact no gasket at all. Check for crankcase pressure first. Im having some issues with my sump leaking. I know you cant do it up tight cos its a stinkin cork gasket :o ... but does anyone know what the torque settings are for the sump? or if theres any strange mitsubishi lab secrets to sealing it up.
